Satchel is a little white Maltese (we think). That's a kind of dog.
He was born in Iran, but his family didn't want him and let him go.
Satchel was saved by Niagara Dog Rescue and brought to Ontario, Canada. Then he was adopted by Mark and El.
Satchel lives with his Mama and Dada.

It's because bedtime is when his family goes to sleep. When no one is watching, Satchel climbs from his special night nest and sneaks out of the house.
